Lodging

The Spring meeting of the Workforce Education Council (WEC) will be May 8 and 9, graciously hosted by Yakima Valley College. There are two recommended hotels for this event, both offering the government rate: Home2 Suites (2420 W. Nob Hill Blvd. | 509.453.1806) and Tru (2424 W. Nob Hill Blvd. | 509.517.3300).

Please use one of those links to book your stay before the room blocks expire on April 7.  

Important note: Because our meeting is coordinated with BLC, these links default to May 6-9th for reservation dates. That’s great if you’re attending both BLC and WEC.  But if you’re just attending WEC, you’ll need to click on “Edit Stay” to adjust for the nights you need.

Dues

We are not currently collecting dues for the 2024-25 academic year because we will be voting at the Fall 2024 meeting with a motion regarding if/how we wish to charge dues for this year.

Who may attend

Participation is limited to two WEC members per college per meeting.

Permission to send more than two participants to a given meeting is at the discretion of the WEC president/chair and may vary depending upon meeting space constraints.

Executive Committee Business Meeting

Executive committee members will be emailed details for executive committee meetings.
