OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will hold its annual retreat Thursday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On the agenda is a facilitated discussion on advancing the State Board's Strategic Plan. Board members are also expected to hear an update of the system's tribal partnerships and learn more about the college system's unions.
State Board members will also convene for an executive session Wednesday, Nov. 8. State Board during which time it's expected they will evaluate the performance of a public employee and conduct self-assessment and planning.
The retreat will be held at Alderbrook Resort, 10 E. Alderbrook Drive in Union. The meeting agenda and background materials are posted on the State Board website. Both meetings, with the exception of the executive session, are open to the public.
