Database Download & Appendices
This database is provided for your use in reviewing building and site conditions for your campus, district, or statewide assessment. There are several levels of reports available within the system. One can look at a single building, a summary of buildings within a college, or a summary of buildings within a district, or a statewide look at all state-owned structures.
The files were prepared during the 2009 facility condition survey and reviewed and updated by the state board staff to provide a more comprehensive listing of facilities. There may be some structures missing from the listing. Please identify where there may be any inconsistencies in the files - wrong building number, incorrect square footage, missing state-owned facility, or a score you believe is incorrect. The best way to identify changes that need to be made is to mark up a report and send it to the attention of Wayne Doty at SBCTC.
The survey reports follow the scoring standards outlined in Appendices A and B.
Survey Reports Layout
Building Score
A detailed listing of condition by category. The report will ask for the starting college number and concluding college number - Peninsula would enter 010 in both boxes to get a report for each of their owned facilities, Seattle District would enter 062 and 065 to get a report for each project in the district, etc.
Building Condition by College
A summary by college is available listing all buildings within ranges and associated condition ratings as follows:
- 146-175 = Superior
- 176-275 = Adequate
- 276-350 = Needs Improvement/Additional Maintenance
- 351-475 = Needs Improvement/Renovation
- 476-730 = Replace or Renovate
Selecting a college or a sequence of college is done in the same manner described under Building Score.
Building Condition Statewide Summary
Reports are generated by category for a sequence of projects. The selection criteria is the same as above and categories are identical. For a statewide report the starting college would be entered as 010 and the final college entered as 300. The report will put all community and technical college-owned facilities in order from the best to the worst.
Site Score
This report generates a site scorecard for every site operated by a college or range of colleges. For example, Bates would enter a starting college number of 280 and a final college number of 280 to get a site report for its main campus and a report for its South Campus.
If you have any questions regarding the use of the report, please contact Wayne Doty at 360-704-4382. Should there be any problems with access to the information on this site please contact the SBCTC Web Master.
